This notice explains the categories of personal data involved when people use Flinker websites, documentation, applications, support, and commercial channels, and the choices available under applicable data-protection law.
Document precedence: Product-specific notices, signed agreements, and the current Data Processing Agreement apply where they provide more specific terms.
Controller and contact
Flinker GmbH, Zittelstrasse 7, 80796 Munich, Germany, is responsible for website and business-contact processing described in this notice. Privacy questions may be sent to info@flinker.app.
Where Flinker processes information only on a customer organization's documented instructions, the customer is normally the controller and Flinker acts under the applicable data-processing terms.

Information that may be processed
The information involved depends on the service and the way it is deployed. Flinker may receive information provided directly by a person, technical information generated when a service is used, and business information supplied by an organization.
- Name, business contact details, organization, and role
- Support requests, correspondence, meeting information, and feedback
- Account, tenant, license, and application-assignment information
- Browser, device, IP address, time, diagnostic, security, and usage events
- Order, invoice, procurement, contract, and partner information
Purposes and legal bases
Information is processed to provide requested services, operate and secure products, respond to inquiries, administer customer and partner relationships, meet contractual commitments, improve reliability, and comply with legal duties.
Depending on the context, processing may rely on performance of a contract or pre-contractual request, compliance with legal obligations, consent, or legitimate interests such as service security, fraud prevention, product reliability, and business administration.
Model and project data
Supported Flinker viewer workflows are designed to parse and render model files in the browser or within a customer-controlled Microsoft environment. Marketing-site analytics and business-contact processing are separate from project-file processing.
The applicable product documentation and customer architecture determine the actual storage source, processing boundary, identity flow, and optional service components.
Recipients and service providers
Information may be available to authorized Flinker personnel, professional advisers, and contracted service providers that support hosting, Microsoft cloud services, communication, billing, scheduling, support, diagnostics, or security. Access is limited to the relevant purpose and contractual safeguards are used where required.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, necessary to protect rights or security, or part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
International transfers
Where a recipient processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, Flinker uses an applicable transfer mechanism and supplementary safeguards as required. The exact mechanism depends on the provider, service, and destination.
Retention
Personal data is retained only for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable contractual, tax, accounting, limitation, security, and legal periods. Retention can differ for website logs, support records, customer contracts, invoices, and customer-controlled product data.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential storage may be used to deliver and secure a service. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should operate only where permitted and, when required, after consent. Browser settings and any consent interface can be used to manage available choices.
Data-protection rights
Subject to applicable conditions, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection and may withdraw consent for future processing. A person may also complain to a competent supervisory authority.
Requests should include enough information to identify the relevant relationship or service. Flinker may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
Security and updates
Flinker applies organizational and technical controls appropriate to the processing context. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers must also maintain appropriate identity, device, sharing, and Microsoft-tenant controls.
This notice may be updated when services, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective or review date shown above identifies the current website presentation.
